Kilmacolm & Port Glasgow Agricultural Show was established in 1835 and has been held almost year since. The Show has only been cancelled in the years during the wars and on outbreaks of Foot and Mouth Disease.
Kilmacolm and Port Glasgow Annual Show is held at the Knapps, Kilmacolm, Scotland on the second Saturday of every May. Kilmacolm is approximately 18 miles west of Glasgow, Scotland.
The Society is a registered charity (SC003709) and relies on the generosity of supporters to fund the show each year. We are extremely grateful to the companies and individuals who advertise, sponsor and donate prizes each year; the Show could not happen without them.
Thank you very much to our judges, stewards, volunteers, sponsors and supporters, without whom the show could not be held. We are extremely grateful for the generosity, work and time given throughout the year and on the day of the Show.
We are extremely grateful for the photographs supplied by: Bill Crookston (www.billcrookston.com), Arthur Boyle, Victoria Adams, Callum Campbell, Jillian Craig, Emma Harper, Gillian Pettigrew, Dawn Scott, Nikki Stewart and Andrew Williamson.
